Description: Hole #5 is a downhill par 4 featuring a beautiful, shaggy-bark hickory tree right in the middle of the fairway. This is a driveable hole if you’re fortunate enough to get past the tree with your tee shot & make it to the slope that leads down to the green. For those non-tree loving golfers, there is a bail out area to the right...but that’s no fun. Playing from the back tees creates an entirely different hole.
How To Play #5: From the white tees, the tree is approximately 250 yards away so feel free to swing away...getting past the tree is easier than you may think. With a good tee shot, a short iron into the very large green is all you’ll need. Hitting short of the green from the fairway is OK...your ball should ride the slope to the putting surface.
